Information on free website hosting and free domain registration

Dear all,

For those so interested in creating their own website (Chen, Michal, Susan in particular) here is some useful information on free website hosting and free domain name registration (redirect services).

So far I found www.atspace.com a great hosting provided because it does not contain any annoying pop-ups, forced ads, and/or any other trash on your site, unlike other free hosting services like Geocities or Hotmail.

Once you register with them and get your second level address (e.g. http://cyberville.atspace.com) you can go to www.tk or www.eu.kz where you can register a short and nice address (e.g. www.cyberville.tk or www.cyberville.eu.kz) for free, and you link your existing address to the short one. The only disadvantage with these redirect services that you get a pop-up window when you access the website. But as you know, there is no free lunch anyway :)

The best software to use to design and make your sites is of course Macromedia Dreamweaver, and that's a fact :) You can download a 30-day trial version for free from their site (www.macromedia.com).

That's it. Let me know if you have questions and I'll be happy to answer (if I know it).

Cheers

Thank you sooooooo much for the STAG/Bachelor's party!

Guys and girls,

Thank you really really much for all the entertainment and ridicularization (don't know if that's a word - what do you think Rob?). It was really THE best party of my life. You are all very special people to me and it was especially great to have you share the great moments yesterday.

I hope the guys feel fine today. Here is a short report on my status: walk up at 10:30 with a slight hangover but alive!

Surprisingly enough I remember the highlights of yesterday night. The funniest things of course were: Mariska cutting her butt with the broken bottle (sorry Mariska cause it's not very funny for you; me falling off the chair at Fagstuff; us trashing the Fagstuffp; guys taking the nut baskets and using them as hats (to compensate the inability to have a green cowboy hat; and much more...

Once again, thank you very much for the best time! I will never forget it. Soon I will post the picture of me from yesterday night.

Cheers and thanks for all!

EPA2005 People! Posted by Hello

Welcome to EPA2005 Alumni Website

Dear EPA2005 colleagues,

I intend to create and publish our alumni blog (site) where we can find interesting information for ourselves, about ourselves away from Maastricht. I will need your cooperation to keep this project alive. So feel free to add information about yourselves (wherever you are and whatever you do), events, meetings, parties, job-related info, and anything else that you might feel like adding!

Cheers,

Val
