Just thought I'd report in from the, sorry Indira, incredibly SUNNY southeast coast of Ireland, TraMore, our little corner of the universe this summer. We're loving our house and our location. We look out on TraMore Bay with three miles of beach plus scenic dunes at the far end. Turn right from our front door and we walk three miles along the coast road over some great cliffs to a very cool cove. Speaking of cool, the water isn't what Carlota and Angni are used to! We've seen Lorcan and his band of very merry mates once when they rolled into town; we're looking forward to seeing him in Dublin this Thursday where we go to pick up a couple of other friends who will stay a while with us.

Say, anyone have a good recommendation for a two bedroom apartment in Maastricht? We're going to be needing more space and some privacy for the first year of my PhD programme. We can afford about 900/month. We'd like spacious and modern.

Looking forward to visiting those of you in Brussels once I'm back on the continent. Ciao and love, Suze

Hey everybody

Have kept rather quiet in the last weeks but thought of all of you quite often. Hope you are all having either a good start finding a job or at least enjoying your holidays. I've just come back from my Irish week with Lorcan - the man is a phantastic tourist guide: went camping, horse-riding, played golf (i am a natural :-))... had a great time!!! Back home the mood drops quite quickly again - the promissed job in Berlin is not working out as easily as i hoped - although there is still the possibility that i will get it i am now starting to stretch out for other opportunities. Apart from that being a child in my parent's place drives me up the wall on a regular basis as well, so hopefully i will soon enough have my own place again to prevent me from a second puberty-rebellion against my relatives...To escape that a bit I'll try to get to Brussels before the end of the month for a weekend, so hope to see some of you there soon!
